Twilight’s Pathway
This piece, captured in watercolor on an archival 100% cotton panel, flows from a memory of a quiet evening when the earth seemed to hold its breath. The sunset spilled colors over a gentle meadow, painting the skyline in soft lavender and blue, creating a sense of calm only dusk brings. I hoped to convey a sense of journey in this work—the creek weaving through the meadow like tributaries of life, drawing us forward with an invitation to wander and wonder. The trees, softened by the evening light, stand as silent guardians over this fleeting moment of peace. May it offer the viewer a glimpse of tranquility—a reminder of the beauty in quiet places and, perhaps, the promise of rest for the soul.
