Country Vista

A New Ink and Wash Illustration

Sometimes memories create the most pleasant moments. I was thinking of a walk in the country and drew this. It is more of a composite of features. I think it is part of eastern Kansas and part of North Carolina.

This ink-wash landscape captures a serene countryside scene with a vast sky, a dense cluster of trees on the left, and open fields stretching into the distance. The use of monochromatic shading is intended to create depth and texture, conveying, I hope, the tranquility and expansive feeling of the rural setting.

The nice thing about art is that it can be exactly what you want it to be.
