This is called Autumn Pass. I have gone to this place often over the past several years. It is a place that inspires a serenity born of God’s presence. Though the water is a little brown from rains and high water—it’s mostly crystal clear—the earth colors in the river serve to highlight a contrast with autumn crimson and goldenrod. I hope you enjoy “Autumn Pass.” If you capture just a bit of peace from the reality this humble scribbling seeks to reflect, I will be most thankful.
